Linda and I had a nice weekend trip to the Dallas area to revisit 6 Flags over Texas where we had spent our honeymoon. Of course the price changed from around $7.95 per person to $140 even though we bought highly discounted online tickets. We found out after we were there that none of the music shows were on until June and because of my pacemaker I could not ride any of their rides. we walked around for a couple of hours, felt very old and then went to our motel.

That night we went to a Texas Rangers ballgame and had a nice time. We bought 2  "sausage sandwiches" and only ate about half of one. they were very good though expensive at $13 each.

The next day we toured the beautiful bluebonnet fields near Ennis Texas which is around 45  miles south of Dallas. This was a wonderful day filled with beautiful flowers, large horses and nice people. It was a wonderful day.
